Repulse

Repulse uses a fixed-screen shooting format. The player controls a ship or gun unit near the lower part of the screen and fires upward at incoming enemies. Stages revolve around single-screen encounters where foes enter from multiple directions and attack with steady projectile patterns. Success depends on movement control, target priority, and surviving long enough to advance, with score chasing and consistency forming the core loop in its single-player arcade structure.

Learn where enemy waves enter from and try to stay in a central lower position that leaves room to dodge left or right. Survival matters more than reckless scoring, especially when fire becomes dense. Remove fast or aggressive enemies first, and use any predictable spawn pattern to pre-position your shots. In a fixed shooter like this, rhythm and discipline usually matter more than constant movement without purpose.

• Stay near the lower middle when possible to preserve escape routes.
• Prioritize enemies with fast shots or awkward approach angles.
