Each stage is a head-to-head contest against an enemy deity, and progress depends on balancing terrain shaping, settlement development, and timing your attacks. The campaign features many increasingly difficult maps with different terrain layouts and conditions.

Focus first on creating large, connected flat areas so your followers can spread quickly and generate more divine energy. Keep your own settlements compact and defensible, and watch the enemy's terrain patterns so you can disrupt their expansion before they become too strong. Save powerful miracles for moments when the opponent has concentrated settlements, since destroying a large cluster is far more effective than harassing scattered villages. Avoid spending energy too early on minor attacks.
