Paperboy

The game uses an isometric forward-scrolling view. Over seven in-game days, the player must deliver newspapers to subscribers while avoiding non-subscriber houses. You steer a bicycle, adjust position, and throw papers at porches or mailboxes while dealing with cars, dogs, skaters, construction zones, cemetery shortcuts, and runaway lawnmowers. At the end of each day, a training course appears for extra points and for recovering lost subscribers. Missing deliveries or damaging a subscriber's property can cause cancellations, making later days harder.

Memorize which houses belong to subscribers and plan your lane changes early instead of reacting at the last second. Throw from a safe mid-range distance rather than hugging the porch, which increases crash risk. Use the training course to rebuild your subscriber base whenever possible. When traffic or obstacles stack up ahead, slow down briefly instead of forcing a risky line. Pre-throwing papers toward easy targets can reduce pressure during crowded sections.
