Mystic Warriors

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective with stage-based progression. Players choose from four ninja characters and fight through waves of enemies using melee attacks, jumps, projectiles, and ninja special moves. Stages end with boss fights, and enemy formations often pressure players from both sides. Cooperative play is a major focus, with each character offering slightly different weapon feel, range, and speed. Progress is linear from stage to stage until the final confrontation.

Keima

A faster, more agile ninja suited to mobile and aggressive play.

Kojiro

A sturdier fighter with strong attacks and solid crowd control potential.

Brad

A western cyber-ninja who uses distinctive weapons and attack animations.

In co-op, spread out to avoid letting enemies trap the whole team at once. Prioritize ranged attackers and charging enemies before dealing with weaker mobs. Save special attacks for crowd pressure or dangerous boss patterns rather than using them casually. During boss fights, learn the attack rhythm first, then punish after openings. Beginners may prefer characters with steadier range and easier spacing control.

Tips and tricks

• Jump out of dangerous corner situations instead of forcing trades.
• Coordinate positions in multiplayer so one player controls crowds while another pressures the boss.
• Do not waste specials when only one weak enemy is on screen.
