Gunforce II

The game uses a horizontal scrolling perspective with players moving forward through stages, jumping, crouching, and firing to defeat waves of infantry, armored vehicles, and bosses. Weapon pickups change the firing pattern, and power-ups are often tucked into breakable objects or hidden routes. Some stages include vehicle segments or special combat sections, while boss fights typically demand pattern recognition and careful positioning.

One of the two selectable elite fighters, armed for heavy assault missions.

Soldier B

The second playable soldier, suited for cooperative fire support.

Keep your strongest weapon whenever possible and avoid unnecessary deaths that strip away power. Stay mobile in crowded fights, using jumps and short movement adjustments to dodge fire. In boss battles, learn attack cues first, then attack during safe openings. If the stage has breakable cover, clear it early to create more room for dodging. In co-op, split enemy attention to reduce the chance of being surrounded.

Tips and tricks

• Use short hops to slip through spread shots and low threats.
• Preserving weapon upgrades is one of the biggest keys to finishing the game efficiently.
