Gauntlet

The game uses a top-down view with maze-style stages and objective-based progression. Players can play solo or in cooperative sessions, selecting characters with different attack ranges and strengths. Levels require opening doors, collecting keys, destroying monster generators, and reaching the exit while managing a constantly decreasing health meter. Food restores health, treasure increases score, and later stages introduce denser enemy waves and tighter layouts that demand movement and route planning.

In co-op play, assign roles so one player clears paths while another handles keys or pickups. Keep moving to avoid being trapped in narrow corridors, and target dangerous ranged enemies first when fights become crowded.
