Fatal Fury 2

The game uses a side-view 2D fighting layout. Players select one fighter and face a series of one-on-one matches against computer-controlled opponents. Each character has basic attacks, jumping, blocking, and signature special moves, with match flow focused on spacing, timing, and reading the opponent. Rounds are fought under a best-of-three format, and progression continues through a tournament ladder until the final boss.

Play at mid-range and use normals to test the opponent before committing to specials. Against heavy-hitting foes, stay patient and avoid overextending. Jump-in attacks should be carefully spaced so you do not get anti-aired or punished on landing. Learning each character's recovery windows is key to winning consistently.

• Save health for boss encounters instead of forcing extra damage.
• Use ground pressure and short hops to keep the opponent from controlling the pace.
