The game uses a side-scrolling stage structure with progression through roughly six levels. Players move left and right across each area, defeat waves of enemies, and face a boss at the end of each stage. Eight Man relies on quick punches, kicks, jumping attacks, and rapid movement to control space and break enemy formations. Encounters emphasize close-range pressure, dodging projectiles, and learning boss patterns to create safe openings.

The cyborg protagonist, built for extreme speed and powered melee combat.
Strategy
Keep moving to avoid being surrounded, and use jumping attacks to close distance safely. Against projectile enemies, wait for a clear lane before rushing in. Boss fights are usually easier when played patiently: bait an attack, step away, and punish the recovery window. If the stage offers destructible items or pickups, clear nearby threats first so you can collect them safely.
