Dune II: The Battle for Arrakis

The game uses a top-down perspective and mission-based campaign progression. Each house features unique units and special powers. In the opening phase, secure steady power and a reliable refinery economy so harvesters can work nonstop. Avoid overbuilding too early; use a small mobile force to scout and protect spice routes first. Place vital structures deeper inside your base and use cheaper outer buildings to delay attacks. Against heavy armor, focus fire instead of spreading damage. In worm-heavy areas, avoid leaving infantry exposed on open sand for too long. Lean into each house's strengths rather than trading units evenly.
