Defender 2000

Players pilot a ship across a looping horizontal battlefield, destroying alien attackers and protecting humans on the surface. If enemies abduct humans and mutate them, the threat level rises quickly. The game offers modes closer to the arcade original as well as a more enhanced variant with visual effects, weapon upgrades, and score-focused systems. Core play revolves around thrust control, reversing direction, shooting, using smart bombs, and reading the radar to respond to threats.
