Alien vs. Predator

This is a side-scrolling beat 'em up built around stage-by-stage progression, playable solo or in two-player co-op. The four selectable characters differ in reach, speed, throws, and special attacks. Players use combos, jumps, dashes, grapples, and screen-clearing moves while picking up weapons such as guns and spears for extra damage. Progress depends on crowd control, positioning, conserving recovery items, and learning boss patterns across multiple action-heavy stages.

Learn each character's reach and startup speed before committing to a main. When large Alien groups appear, attack from the side to avoid being surrounded. Save powerful pickup weapons for elite enemies and bosses. If trapped, use jumps or special moves to escape, but remember that some powerful actions cost health. In co-op, cover opposite directions and avoid stacking on the same target. Many bosses rely on rush attacks and wake-up pressure, so back off slightly after knockdowns instead of overcommitting.

Tips and tricks

• Human characters are generally easier for beginners to understand.
• Polearms and firearms are excellent for crowd control, so use them thoughtfully.
• Against leaping Xenomorphs, preemptive attacks are often safer than reacting late.
