SpongeBob SquarePants: SuperSponge

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective with multiple chapters, each containing four stages and a boss battle at the end of the fourth stage. Players jump, attack, and avoid hazards while collecting items scattered through the levels. In the PlayStation version, spatulas act as the health buffer: getting hit removes collected spatulas, and being hit with none left costs a life. Clearing each chapter’s requirements can unlock the hidden Six Clams Adventure Land stages, where SpongeBob rides through obstacle-filled amusement park areas and collects flower tokens to advance the birthday-party story.

Learn enemy patrols and platform timing before rushing for collectibles. Many spatulas and other items are placed on upper routes or hidden branches, so explore vertically as well as forward. For boss fights, preserve as much health buffer as possible and avoid unnecessary damage near the end of a chapter. After unlocking hidden stages, return to earlier chapters if you want to clean up missing collectibles more efficiently.

In the PlayStation version, collecting enough spatulas in each chapter unlocks the hidden stage set Six Clams Adventure Land.
