Shining in the Darkness

The game uses a first-person view for towns and dungeons, with movement on a grid and step-by-step turning and inspection. Battles are turn-based, offering attacks, magic, items, and defense after random encounters. Towns provide shops, healing, and preparation, while dungeons contain branching corridors, traps, switches, and locked doors. Progress comes through leveling up, finding better gear, and learning stronger spells.

Upgrade equipment and heal in town before pushing deeper into the dungeon. Map your route or hug the walls to avoid getting lost in multi-level mazes. When enemies start to outpace your resources, retreat, restock, and grind a few levels. Save magic and healing items for dangerous fights instead of using them too early.
