Players move characters across battlefield maps one turn at a time, using terrain, spacing, and unit roles to gain advantage. Hold chokepoints with durable units and keep fragile attackers protected behind them. Focus damage to remove one enemy at a time instead of spreading attacks too thin. Pay attention to healing and consumables, and prioritize enemy support or high-damage units when possible. In defense maps, steady advancement is usually safer than rushing forward.
