Shadow of Yserbius

Players choose a character class and descend through a multi-level dungeon viewed from a top-down perspective. Combat is menu- and command-driven, with exploration focused on moving through rooms, fighting enemies, collecting loot, and managing health, magic, and equipment. Progress is structured around deeper dungeon floors, where stronger monsters and puzzle elements appear. The game supports cooperative multiplayer, but can also be played solo, with character growth driven by experience, improved gear, and new abilities.

Warrior

A frontline class built for melee combat, durability, and sustained dungeon fighting.

Mage

A spellcasting class focused on ranged magic, elemental damage, and utility spells.

Thief

A nimble class that emphasizes agility, stealthy actions, and dexterous utility.

Balance your party around survivability, magic support, and physical damage if playing with multiple characters. Conserve resources on early floors and identify which enemies can be handled safely before pushing deeper. Upgrade weapons and armor whenever possible, and keep healing items available for extended expeditions. In solo play, choose a class that matches your preferred pacing and be especially careful with inventory and spell usage.
