Stabilize food and finances before expanding your army. After capturing a weak neighboring city, reinforce it so your rear line is not exposed. Recruit officers with strong intelligence to improve diplomacy and tactics. In battle, fight from favorable terrain and concentrate forces to defeat stronger rivals one by one.
