Romancing SaGa 3

The game uses an overhead exploration map and turn-based battles. Players choose one of eight protagonists, each with a distinct opening and different event access, while the world progresses through free-form scenarios. In the early game, focus on building a stable party and concentrating on a few weapon types instead of spreading growth too thin. Talk to NPCs often, since many events and hidden areas advance through dialogue. Against tough enemies, prioritize formations, recovery options, and elemental or status advantages. Because progression is highly open, keeping multiple save files before major events is wise.
