Renegade

The game uses a side-view, linear stage structure where the player moves through streets, subways, and other urban areas. Combat centers on punches, kicks, grabs, and throws, with enemies entering from both sides of the screen. Encounters mix regular thugs with tougher opponents and occasional bosses. Progress is stage based, and clearing one district advances the player to the next area until the final confrontation.

Protagonist

A lone street fighter who enters gang territory to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend.

Girlfriend

The kidnapped woman whose abduction drives the story forward.

Learn the timing of grabs and throws, since they are the safest way to control enemy crowds. Against groups, avoid overcommitting to long attack strings and use movement to create space. Prioritize fast or weapon-wielding enemies first. In boss fights, watch for attack tells and punish the recovery windows after their moves.
