Quake II

The game is played from a first-person perspective across a sequence of mostly linear stages. The N64 version adjusts level layouts and controls to suit the controller, with an emphasis on movement, aiming, weapon switching, and resource management. Learn the locations of ammo and armor pickups so you don't run dry in later stages. Use your strongest weapons on grouped enemies or tougher foes rather than wasting them on minor targets.
