Pac-Mania

You control Pac-Man through isometric mazes, eating every pellet on the map to advance while avoiding the four ghosts. The NES version uses an angled 3D-style view, which makes movement timing and corner navigation more important than in the original. A key addition is jumping: Pac-Man can leap over ghosts to escape dangerous situations or pass through tight lanes. Power pellets let you turn the tables briefly and eat ghosts for score. Later stages become faster and more punishing, requiring careful route planning.

Pac-Man

Plan a safe looping route before you start clearing pellets, and avoid lingering in the center of the maze. Save your jump for emergencies or for crossing a dangerous corridor when ghosts close in. Try to use power pellets when multiple ghosts are nearby so you gain more points and breathing room. As the game speeds up, play conservatively and give up a few pellets rather than risk a trap.

Tips and tricks

• Get comfortable with the isometric movement so you do not misread diagonal turns.
• Do not overuse the jump; keeping one jump in reserve can save a run.
• Clear the outer lanes first, then move inward to reduce the chance of being boxed in.
