Ninja Gaiden

The game is a side-scrolling action platformer with stage-based progression. Ryu can run, jump, climb walls, and attack with his sword and secondary weapons. Special techniques consume weapon energy and include throwable projectiles and stronger ninja arts. Levels combine enemy encounters, pits, hazards, and precision platforming, while story scenes appear between stages to advance the plot. Clearing all stages completes the game.

Learn enemy spawn points and jump timing early, since knockback often causes bigger mistakes than direct hits. Save secondary-weapon energy for dangerous aerial foes, multi-enemy sections, and bosses. During boss fights, watch patterns first and attack only in safe openings. On wall-climbing sections, control movement carefully to avoid slipping into hazards or taking repeated damage.
