Players take turns moving around the board by rolling dice, purchasing unowned properties, and paying rent when landing on owned spaces. The DS interface uses stylus input for menus, trading, and property management. Core systems include auctions, building houses and hotels, mortgaging assets, and negotiating trades to complete color sets. Matches can be played against AI or in local wireless multiplayer.
