Minna de Puyo Puyo

Players control pairs of falling Puyos in a vertical playfield, moving them left or right and rotating them to build matching groups. When four or more of the same color connect, they clear, and any Puyos above can drop into place to form new matches and chains. Modes typically include single-player progression, versus CPU, and practice-style play. Progress is driven by clearing opponents or stage goals, with success depending on planning stack shapes and setting up chain reactions.

Build a stable main stack on one side and keep the other side open for future placements and chain triggers. Avoid scattering colors across the board, since messy placements make longer chains much harder. If pressure builds, clear garbage quickly before committing to big setups. Practice standard chain patterns repeatedly until you can place pieces while keeping future links intact.
