Kirby's Dream Land

The game is played from a side-scrolling perspective across a sequence of action stages and boss encounters. Kirby can jump, inhale enemies or objects, spit them back out as projectiles, and float briefly to cross gaps or avoid hazards. Unlike later entries, this game does not feature copy abilities, so combat focuses on basic inhaling and star attacks. Progress is stage-based, with enemies, pits, and simple platforming challenges leading to each boss fight and the final showdown with King Dedede.

Use inhaling and spitting as your main offensive tool, since many common enemies can be defeated safely at range. Make good use of Kirby's float to correct jumps and avoid pits. In boss battles, watch for attack patterns, retreat after each opening, and punish only when the boss finishes moving.
