Player stamina and positioning affect both attack and defense, and some modes offer tournament or exhibition play.

When attacking, use short passing to pull the defense apart instead of forcing long balls. Moving the ball wide and then cutting it back to the center usually creates better shooting chances than charging straight through the middle. On defense, avoid reckless switching that breaks your shape; block passing lanes first and then step in.
