Front Mission

The game uses a top-down grid map and turn-based tactical combat. Players move units, choose attacks, and target enemy body parts such as the head, arms, or legs, each affecting accuracy, firepower, or mobility when damaged. After battles, units gain experience and money for repairs, parts, and weapons. Progress is mission-based, with varied objectives and team setups across story chapters.

Keep critical machine parts upgraded and repaired, especially on front-line units. In battle, focus fire on enemy arms or legs to weaken their offense or movement. Mix ranged and melee weapons so your squad can respond to different threats. Against strong foes, disabling key parts is often better than trying to destroy the entire unit at once.
