Dragon Quest

Players explore towns, fields, and dungeons from an overhead perspective, talking to NPCs, buying gear, and collecting clues. Random encounters lead to command-based turn-based battles where the player chooses attacks, spells, or items. Experience points raise the hero’s level and stats, gradually expanding survivability and spell options. Progress is saved between sessions, and the game’s structure emphasizes methodical exploration and preparation.

Level up early and upgrade your equipment as soon as new gear becomes available; both greatly reduce battle risk. Talk to every NPC, since many essential clues and location hints are delivered through dialogue. Before entering dungeons, stock up on healing items and manage MP carefully so you can retreat safely if resources run low.

• Grinding a few levels before tackling tougher areas makes progression much smoother.
