DOOM

The game uses a first-person perspective and centers on navigating maze-like levels, finding colored key cards, and unlocking matching doors to advance. Combat is fast and direct: move, strafe, shoot, and switch weapons while collecting ammo, armor, health, and power-ups. The 32X version preserves the single-player campaign structure, with simplified visuals and effects, but the core loop of exploration, combat, and route memorization remains intact.

The hostile creatures and bosses that inhabit the base, including hellspawn and major enemies.

Save stronger weapons and ammunition for tougher enemies. The shotgun is excellent at close range, while the chaingun and rocket launcher are best used carefully due to ammo cost and self-damage risk. Before entering a new room, scan the layout and use corners or doorways to control enemy movement. On harder settings, clear rooms methodically and backtrack for supplies when needed.
