Blockout

The game uses a top-down view of a vertical pit with a 3D playfield. Pieces spawn above the well and can be moved along horizontal axes while being rotated around multiple directions before dropping. The main objective is to fit each piece into the pit so that completed horizontal layers are cleared. As the stack rises, available space becomes tighter and the player must plan placement several moves ahead.

Plan rotations before committing to a drop, because awkward orientations can quickly block valuable space. Keep the floor as flat as possible and avoid creating deep holes in the center of the pit. Reserve one side as a safe area for temporary placement while you search for a better fit. Good layer management is more important than aggressive stacking.
