Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker

The game uses stage-based side-scrolling action. You guide Batman through city areas and interior facilities, using punches, kicks, jumping, crouching, and basic equipment against waves of enemies. Some sections reward careful approach and timing rather than rushing forward. Difficulty comes from enemy placement, narrow terrain, and health management. Progress depends on learning attack patterns, preserving life between stages, and punishing bosses during recovery windows.

Learn the range of each enemy type and avoid reckless button mashing. Against ranged attackers, bait shots or attacks first, then close the distance quickly. In tight spaces, pull enemies one at a time to avoid being surrounded. Save health whenever possible, and study boss routines before committing to counterattacks.

Tips and tricks

• Many enemies attack at fixed ranges, so spacing is more important than constant offense.
• Jumping can be used defensively, not just for platforming.
• If several enemies approach at once, back up and separate them before attacking.
