Batting is shown mainly from behind the hitter, asking the player to judge pitch speed, movement, and depth before swinging. When pitching, you vary location and pitch type to disrupt timing. Defensive play requires quick catches, throws, and force-outs. Games progress inning by inning under standard baseball scoring, with success depending on timing and minimizing mistakes.

At the plate, avoid swinging at everything early on; first learn the pitch speed and typical locations so you can attack favorable balls. On the mound, mix high and low pitches as well as inside and outside locations to prevent the batter from locking into a rhythm. On defense, take the sure out instead of forcing risky plays. When baserunning, be conservative unless the ball is clearly hit deep enough to advance safely.
