Totally Rad

The game uses a horizontal side-view perspective. Jake runs, jumps, and attacks through multi-stage levels filled with enemies, traps, and platforming hazards. He can use close-range strikes and magic skills to handle different threats, and some stages introduce special movement or action sequences. Progress is stage-based, with a boss at the end of each area and limited resources that reward careful play.

Learn enemy patterns first and save stronger magic for tougher foes or bosses. Jumping sections are often more dangerous than combat, so keep momentum and avoid rushing into blind spots. On boss fights, watch for attack loops and punish openings instead of trading hits. If a stage offers healing or power-up items, use them before the most crowded segments.

• Don't spend special attacks on weak enemies unless you're in danger of being surrounded.
• Some platforms are safer if you pause for a moment and time your jump rather than rushing.
