The Lost Vikings 2

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective and lets players switch freely between the three Vikings. Erik specializes in jumping and dashing, Baleog handles melee combat and ranged attacks, and Olaf uses his shield to block damage and assist with platforming. Most stages require combining their skills to activate switches, move objects, defeat threats, and reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Progress is level-based, with retry-focused checkpoint structure that encourages experimentation and route planning.

Erik

The agile Viking, capable of high jumps and rushing through gaps or triggering certain switches.

Baleog

The combat-focused Viking, armed with a sword and bow for close and ranged attacks.

Olaf

The defensive Viking, able to block attacks with his shield and help allies traverse hazards.

Study each room before moving forward and assign roles carefully; many puzzles are easiest when Olaf secures safe footing, Erik handles mobility, and Baleog clears enemies or hits distant targets. Use shield positioning to reduce damage and create temporary platforms. Save ammunition and avoid rushing into combat-heavy rooms until the route is clear.

• Check whether the current position is safe before switching characters, especially in hazard-filled rooms.
• Use Olaf's shield to protect the team and assist with jumps and ledges.
• If a puzzle needs a remote trigger, look for Baleog's best firing angle before moving the others.
