Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective where players move through stages, clear groups of enemies, and fight bosses to advance. You can choose one of the four Turtles, each with slightly different speed and attack reach. Controls include attack, jump, crouch, and throws, with aerial attacks and weapon pickups helping against mobs. Some stages mix in vehicle segments, platforming, and crowded multi-enemy battles. Progress continues stage by stage until the final showdown with Shredder.

Focus on enemies that throw projectiles or grapple, since they can quickly overwhelm you. Keep moving and use jump kicks and crouching attacks to control space. Against bosses, wait for their attack patterns, punish safely, and retreat before taking too many risks. In co-op, split crowd control duties to avoid stacking damage on the same spot.

Tips and tricks

• In narrow areas, avoid overcommitting to attacks and prioritize interrupting enemy actions.
• Finish knocked-down enemies quickly to reduce counterattacks on wake-up.
• In co-op, have one player lure enemies while the other deals damage for safer clears.
