Matches use a side-view presentation with football sequences interrupted by command choices. During possession, the player selects options such as advancing, passing, dribbling, or shooting; defensive situations similarly require a decision about how to challenge the opponent. The main experience is organized around a story and tournament progression rather than a freely selectable league. Victories advance the campaign, while match situations and special plays determine how attacks and defensive exchanges unfold. The game is primarily designed for single-player play.

Read the situation before selecting an attack. Passing is safer than forcing a shot when defenders are positioned between the ball carrier and the goal, while a direct attempt is more useful after an attack has created space. Treat defensive commands as a resource-management decision: avoid repeatedly choosing aggressive challenges when the opponent has room to pass, and use the match flow to identify when a tackle or interception has the best chance of stopping the play. Progress depends on winning the campaign's successive matches, so consistent possession is generally more valuable than reckless attacks.
