Super Mario 64

Players control Mario through the castle hub and into paintings that lead to self-contained worlds. Movement focuses on running, jumping, long jumping, wall kicks, crouching, grabbing, and directional control with analog precision. Learn the movement system early, especially camera control, long jumps, and wall kicks. Many stars become much easier once you understand how momentum affects landing and turning. In new courses, first scout the terrain and collect the simplest stars to unlock more of the castle. For precision sections, use short hops and careful analog input instead of rushing. If a mission feels hard, returning later with better route knowledge often saves time.

• Take a moment to align the camera before making precise jumps.
• Long jumps are excellent for distance, but safer jumps are better on narrow ledges.
• If a course feels blocked, collect more stars and revisit the castle for new routes.
