Spawn

This is a side-scrolling beat 'em up built for single-player progression through a fixed set of stages. Movement, jumping, attacks, and special abilities form the core of play, with Spawn relying on his necroplasmic chains for ranged pressure and close-range combos for crowd control. Stages mix combat with light platforming, and each one ends with a boss encounter. Health and special-resource management are important, especially when enemy waves become dense or hazards appear.

Use the chain to keep enemies at a safe distance whenever possible. Prioritize ranged attackers and airborne threats before pushing forward. In boss fights, avoid overcommitting to long strings and wait for openings after attacks. Save healing items for late stages or difficult encounters.
