Each run is viewed from behind the skier as the course scrolls toward the player. The objective is to pass through the correct red and blue gates before the timer expires; missing gates or hitting obstacles costs time and control. The 24 courses are divided among Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert levels. The skier can turn across the course, slow down, and jump over selected hazards. Completing a run with time remaining contributes to the score and allows progression to the next course.

Strategy
Stay near the center of the course until the next gate is visible, then make small steering corrections rather than sweeping movements. Missing a gate is usually more damaging than taking a slightly wider line. Use jumps for hazards that cannot be safely avoided, but do not jump unnecessarily near gates. Learn the placement of trees, snowmen, moguls, and other skiers on each course so that later runs can be approached as memorized routes.
