Road Rash

The game uses a third-person perspective as players race motorcycles across highway circuits against AI opponents. Controls handle acceleration, braking, leaning, and shifting, while punches, kicks, and picked-up weapons can be used to attack nearby riders. Hitting traffic, roadside obstacles, or crashing will cost speed and position. Progress usually revolves around earning prize money, upgrading to faster bikes, and unlocking tougher routes and events, with some versions adding police pressure and vehicle damage penalties.

Stay near the middle of the road to reduce traffic and guardrail collisions. Melee attacks are safest on straight sections, while corners are better handled with full focus on riding.
