The game uses a top-down maze view, and each stage is cleared by eating every dot on the board. The player moves Pac-Man with the directional controls, while power pellets temporarily let him turn the tables and eat ghosts for bonus points. Warp tunnels connect the sides of the maze and can be used to escape or confuse pursuers. Later stages increase ghost speed and pressure, making route planning and timing increasingly important.

Characters
Pac-Man
The player-controlled hero who eats dots and avoids ghosts.
Blinky
The red ghost, usually the most aggressive pursuer.
Pinky
The pink ghost, often trying to cut off Pac-Man from the front.
Inky
The cyan ghost with more unpredictable movement patterns.
Clyde
The orange ghost whose behavior becomes erratic when close to Pac-Man.
Strategy
Clear edge routes and corners first so you do not get trapped later. Save power pellets for moments when ghosts cluster or when you need to open a safe path. Warp tunnels are useful for breaking pursuit and resetting spacing, and it is usually safer to turn around than to force a risky chase.

Tips
Tips and tricks
- Learn the timing of each turn so you can move before the ghosts close in.
- Do not waste power pellets too early; they are best used for escape or cluster clears.
- When multiple ghosts gather on one side, looping around the opposite side is often safer.
