The game uses a top-down board view where players alternate placing black and white discs on legal squares that bracket opponent pieces in a straight line. Each valid move flips all trapped pieces along that line. Play modes include single-player against the CPU and head-to-head local multiplayer. A match ends when the board is full or neither side can move, and the winner is decided by disc count. Controls are minimal, using the D-pad and a confirm button.

Prioritize corners whenever possible, since corner discs cannot be flipped. Avoid grabbing too many discs early, because overextending often gives the opponent strong counterplay. In the midgame, focus on limiting the opponent's mobility by reducing their legal moves. Be careful near edges, especially when a move could hand over a corner.
