Neutopia

The game uses a top-down real-time action system. You travel between towns, overworld areas, and dungeons, attacking with a sword and using items to defeat enemies, activate switches, and open blocked routes. Dungeons feature keys, hidden rooms, traps, and passages that may require specific tools to progress. As you advance, you acquire better equipment and new abilities that expand the map and lead to the major bosses.

The Hero

The player character who gathers the eight Medallions of Virtue and saves the kingdom.

Talk to NPCs often, since clues about dungeons, items, and progression are usually delivered through dialogue. In dungeons, check suspicious walls and dead ends carefully; hidden passages are important. Save healing items for long multi-floor areas and boss fights. Against bosses, study their pattern first and then attack during short safe openings instead of trading hits.

• Keep notes on locked doors and cracked walls so you can revisit them after getting new items.
• Stock up on recovery items before entering longer dungeons.
