Nekketsu! Street Basket: Ganbare Dunk Heroes

The game uses a top-down, half-court street basketball format. You control one of several characters in fast 3-on-3 matches, combining passing, dribbling, shooting, and direct combat. Players can punch, kick, tackle, and use special moves to strip the ball or interrupt opponents. Matches are short and aggressive, with constant transitions between offense and defense. Single-player progression advances through a sequence of teams and increasingly difficult opponents.

Kunio’s frequent rival and ally, a power-oriented character suited to physical contact and defense.

Keep possession first and avoid forcing long shots. Use body checks and steals to disrupt the opponent’s rhythm, then capitalize quickly when they lose the ball. In crowded paint battles, push defenders out of position before attempting a shot. Against stronger teams, stay disciplined on defense and watch for passing lanes rather than chasing the ball blindly.
