Need for Speed Carbon - Own the City

The game uses an overhead/angled top-down racing presentation on GBA. Players compete in one-on-one races, crew events, and territory battles across a fictional city map, gradually taking over districts. Races reward money and progression, which can be used to unlock new cars, improve performance, and change visual parts. Handling, acceleration, top speed, and durability can be tuned, and police chases add extra pressure during events or free-roam-style segments.

Focus on handling and acceleration first; the tracks are tight and corner-heavy, so corner exit speed matters more than raw top speed. In police chases, use narrow streets and chained turns to break line of sight. In crew races, use your allies to block rivals whenever possible. Save money for meaningful upgrades instead of spreading it across too many early cars.
