Mega Man III

The game uses side-scrolling stages focused on jumping, shooting, and avoiding hazards. Players can choose stages in an open order before facing a series of Robot Masters; defeating them grants special weapons that may be useful against specific enemies or obstacles. Core Mega Man mechanics such as energy management, extra lives, and item pickups return. Try boss-weakness weapons first, as they often make difficult fights much safer. Save weapon energy and extra lives for later stages, and learn enemy attack patterns before rushing forward. Use the Rush forms for sections with tricky gaps, vertical movement, or heavy projectile pressure, and pause to scout unfamiliar hazards when necessary.
