Luminous Arc

The game combines town exploration and grid-based tactical combat. Players move through story locations, talk to characters, and accept objectives before entering battles on isometric maps. During combat, units act in turns, using positioning, terrain, and elemental or ability advantages to gain the upper hand. Characters level up through battle, and growth systems support gradual improvement over the course of the story.

In battles, keep allies spread out to reduce the impact of area attacks, and use terrain and positioning to maximize damage while minimizing risk. When facing tougher enemies, clear smaller threats first and advance methodically instead of rushing the objective.
