Jackal

Players control a jeep from a top-down view, firing a main weapon and secondary attacks while pushing through hostile territory. POWs are scattered across the maps and can be rescued to improve firepower or provide support. Missions feature enemy bunkers, tanks, gun emplacements, helicopters, and destructible obstacles that open new paths. Progress is stage-based, ending with heavier resistance or boss encounters; in co-op, two players can split duties to clear threats more efficiently.

Rescue POWs as early as possible to power up quickly and make crowd control easier. Focus on high-priority threats such as turrets and helicopters before dealing with basic infantry. Keep moving to avoid being pinned in narrow lanes, and use cover when available to dodge concentrated fire. In two-player play, one player can draw aggro while the other concentrates on rescuing POWs and clearing the flanks.

Tips and tricks

• Avoid lingering in tight corridors where explosions and crossfire can trap you.
• Destroy turrets and helicopters first, then clean up ground units.
• Use the brief power-up window after rescuing POWs to thin out enemy waves.
