Ice Climber

The game uses a vertical, layered mountain structure. Each stage consists of multiple ice floors that must be climbed by jumping and breaking blocks with a mallet. Players must manage enemies such as birds, seals, and falling hazards while creating footholds to reach the top. Reaching the summit within the time limit clears the mountain and advances to the next stage. In two-player mode, coordination matters as much as individual movement, since players can help or hinder each other.

Popo

Playable male climber who scales the mountains and breaks ice blocks.

Nana

Playable female climber who joins Popo in the ascent.

Condor

The bird that steals the vegetables and waits at the top of each mountain.

Plan your route before breaking too many blocks, or you may trap yourself below the next ledge. Keep a stable path upward and avoid destroying every foothold at once. When enemies crowd a platform, clear space first and then jump. In co-op, stay aware of your partner’s position to prevent accidental blocks or falls.

Tips and tricks

• Use the mallet to clear enemies only when you are safe to land afterward.
• Try to move upward early rather than lingering on lower floors.
• In co-op, keep some distance on narrow ledges to avoid collisions.
