Hudson's Adventure Island

The game uses a side-scrolling view with 32 stages of running, jumping, attacking, and avoiding hazards. Your vitality steadily drops over time, so collecting fruit is essential; taking damage or waiting too long without food can end a run quickly. The main weapon is an axe, and skateboard power-ups increase speed but make movement harder to control. Later stages introduce tighter platforming, more enemy pressure, and hazards such as pits, water, and moving terrain.

Learn fruit locations early, since vitality management is the most important survival mechanic. Skateboards are useful on open stretches, but they can be dangerous on narrow or technical sections. Use axe throws from safe positions to clear enemies instead of rushing forward. In later stages, watch landing spots before jumping, and do not overcommit to item pickups if they pull you into traps.
