Golvellius: Valley of Doom

The game alternates between top-down overworld exploration and side-scrolling action areas. Kelesis fights with a sword, collects coins, buys equipment, and finds keys and useful items to reach new locations. Caves and special entrances often lead to platforming sections with enemies, treasure chests, and exits. Progress depends on learning valley layouts, improving gear, increasing health capacity, and defeating bosses in each of the seven areas.

Spend early money on better weapons before armor whenever possible, since defeating enemies faster reduces overall danger. Explore carefully and remember suspicious caves or blocked paths, as many become useful after finding keys or stronger gear. In side-scrolling sections, watch enemy patterns and avoid rushing jumps. If a valley feels overwhelming, backtrack to gather coins, upgrade equipment, and search for missed health upgrades before fighting the boss.
